Clay is another great natural material for production and materialization of my ideas. Even the legendary Golem was crafted from clay and brought to life by rabbi Lövi. In specific meaning I do the same to my creations.

Clay is suitable especially for smaller statues - maximal height of 30-40 cm. The main issue with the bigger ones is that the weight of clay itself makes the statues collapse, also the bodies may break in the oven. With more complicated crafting methods we can create statues with height approximately 50 cm - with using metal supports and gradual drying bearing layers, but this method requires more time.

I use fire clay which due to pieces of fire clay itself offers better coherence of bigger amount of material. For the production of smaller parts of statues we strain the clay to dispose of fire clay pieces, so the details can be done precisely. For models and concepts we use sculptural clay, which doesn´t need to be processed through fire. After extraction from the oven I leave them with the natural colour, the statues are not painted, which gives them the sandstone look. At most I use transparent or bright / dark glaze or engoba.

Products are also suitable to be used outside, for example in rockery or terraces, where they catch interesting veneer after a while. We plan buying pottery roundel in future so we will be able to offer decorated utensils as well.
